Bio/ Artist Statement

 Elizabeth Reeves grew up in Puyallup, WA reading fantastical stories of horror, adventure and fantasy.  *Eir art is a conversation with eir inner self about different experiences and social topics. Ey is also influenced by the sharp contrast between lights and darks exhibited by Caravaggio and the illusionistic paintings of Joe Wardwell.​

Within eir work, the unknown and the unseen are explored through a combination of mediums.  Typography is used to further explain or alter the theme of the pieces to guide viewers to specific concepts.

Elizabeth is currently working with digital art and wood burning pieces.
